Tim Graham, Pastor
Pastor Tim and his wife, Karen, enjoy parenting five children together as they serve in ministry. Both Tim and Karen are graduates of Pillsbury Baptist Bible College in Owatonna. Shortly after marrying in 1992, they began a small business out of their home, Graham Photography in Wanamingo, Minnesota. As Tim reserved some time for seminary studies during his last five years of ownership at Graham Photography, God supplied additional staff members to take his place. By the time they sold the studio in 2003, both Tim and Karen were nearly obsolete in the day-to-day operations of the studio. Tim is now engaged in ministry full-time.
Pastor Tim's approach to preaching the Bible is to preach through the Bible book by book, paragraph by paragraph. The reasons for this approach are many. But among the most significant benefits are 1) Ideas contained within a paragraph of Scripture are presented within the context of the human author's flow of thought, which anchors our interpretation to the author's original meaning; and 2) This approach avoids the temptation for a pastor to only preach his "favorite" passages or passages that he feels are "important." The Bible says, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable."
In addition to Pillsbury College, other institutions contributing to Tim's education are the University of St. Thomas (MBA), Central Baptist Theological Seminary (language studies) and Faith Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity). Tim is currently studying at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois.
